ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR SET FOR OCT. 15
RAHWAY – Mayor Rick Proctor has announced that the City’s
annual Health Fair will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 9
a.m.-12 p.m. at the Rahway Recreation Center.
Blood screening, consisting of blood chemistry, CBC, HDL, red &
white blood cell count, total cholesterol count, etc. will be
offered. Cost is $18.
There will be additional blood
tests offered:
Chem 23, Hemogram, HDL $18.00
Hepatitis B Antibody $25.00
Hepatitis C Ab $25.00
Lyme Antibody Igm/Igg $30.00
PSA $30.00
T-4 (Thyroid) $5.00
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) $10.00
Pre-payment and pre-registration
for blood tests is required. No walk-ins will be taken.
Anyone taking a blood test must fast for 12 hours prior to the
test. Participants may register between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the
Rahway Health Department in City Hall. For more information,

Hemoccult home test kits, hearing,
vision & oral cancer screenings will be offered. Robert Wood
Johnson University Hospital Rahway will be offering diabetic
counseling and weight management tips, as well as a finger stick
test for glucose. No fasting is required. Trinitas Hospital will
offer pulmonary function screening. |
