CITY CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Mayor
James Kennedy, far left, and Freeholder Chester Holmes, far
right, were among 100 Rahway residents at City Hall on February
11 to celebrate
Black History Month with a historical display and program.
The display, which is located inside City Hall, depicts
African-American history and will be viewable to the public
until the end of this month.
Joining the Mayor and Freeholder are the event's sponsors, from
left, Robert Dallas of Ethnicity Art Gallery; Deb Bridges of the
Bridges Book Center; Dawn Griffin of Nature's Sunshine Products;
Willa Reeves of Imoya Treasures and Leza Vaughan of Nature's
Sunshine Products.
