LIBRARY TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY AUG. 19-29
RAHWAY – The
Rahway Public Library will be closed to the public Thursday,
August 19 through Sunday, August 29 to implement the new library
circulation system. There will be no public services provided
during this time. The staff will be present in the building for
implementation and training.
The installation of
the Library Solution Integrated Library System will be done by
The Library Corporation Inc. of Inwood, West Virginia
For this period,
books and library materials can be returned by placing in the
book return bin in front of the building.
The Library will
re-open to the public Monday, August 30 at 9 a.m. and resume the
current schedule until further notice. On August 17, the
Library Board of Trustees is expected to approve the library’s
full-time, six-day schedule, which will begin in early
September. The new hours and their starting date will be posted
on Channel 34 and the
city’s web site later this month.
