LIBRARY TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY AUG. 19-29

RAHWAY – The Rahway Public Library will be closed to the public Thursday, August 19 through Sunday, August 29 to implement the new library circulation system.  There will be no public services provided during this time.  The staff will be present in the building for implementation and training.

The installation of the Library Solution Integrated Library System will be done by The Library Corporation Inc. of Inwood, West Virginia

For this period, books and library materials can be returned by placing in the book return bin in front of the building.

The Library will re-open to the public Monday, August 30 at 9 a.m. and resume the current schedule until further notice.  On August 17, the Library Board of Trustees is expected to approve the library’s full-time, six-day schedule, which will begin in early September.  The new hours and their starting date will be posted on Channel 34 and the city’s web site later this month.
