MAIN STREET TO BE CLOSED FOR PARKING DECK CONSTRUCTION

RAHWAY – Beginning Monday, August 9 at 6:30 am, one lane of Main Street between E. Milton Avenue and Lewis Street will be closed all day to vehicular traffic to accommodate construction of the new 524-car parking deck being built on Main, Irving and Lewis Streets.

 

Beginning Monday, August 18 at 6:30 am and continuing through August 27, Main Street between East Milton Avenue and Lewis Street will be closed to vehicular traffic all day, weather permitting.  Augusta Street between E. Milton Avenue and Lewis Street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm.  Detours will be provided.

 

Motorists are asked to use extra caution when traveling through downtown during the construction and to budget extra time in their trips in case of delays.
