RAHWAY –  City residents Gerry Kirk and David Gritschke (back row, left to right) were honored by the City Council on March 10 for assisting an individual in danger of drowning on June 30, 2002.  Joining them are family members (front row, from left) Alivia and Heather Kirk and (middle row, from left) Kim Kirk and Mary Gritschke.

Rahway resident LeVern Council (second from left) was honored by Jerry Scaturo (left) and the City Council on March 10 for alerting police to a burglary in his neighborhood.   Joining them are family members Beatrice Council, Rhonda Juett and Deonard Juett.
